The mobility of researchers

Inward or outward mobility of researchers

The international mobility of researchers is strongly encouraged, both outwards, when IFSTTAR researchers go to work abroad, and inwards, when foreign researchers come to IFSTTAR.

Both types of mobility help to achieve effective and lasting international ties.

Mobility increases the Institute’s international influence. In 2016, six IFSTTAR researchers went abroad to work in a laboratory (Brazil, Canada, China) and 34 researchers came to IFSTTAR from abroad.

  • Mobility requests are processed throughout the year.
