Doctoral studentships
Doctoral research posts
Each year, about a hundred students with master's degrees are awarded doctoral research posts in the various disciplines in which the Institute is involved.
IFSTTAR provides roughly half of these students with a doctoral contract that is funded either fully or partly by the Institute.
The doctorates of the other half of the students in IFSTTAR's laboratories are externally funded, for example by the Ministry of Research, ENPC, ENTPE, CIFRE or in the framework of projects.
Each doctoral student is trained at one of the Institute's sites: Marne-la-Vallée, Versailles-Satory, Lyon-Bron, Lille-Villeneuve d'Ascq, Nantes, Salon-de-Provence, Marseille.
