The events we have been involved in

IFSTTAR regularly takes part in the organisation of international scientific, technical and policy events.

For example, IFSTTAR organised, with the backing of the European Commission, the 2014 edition of the Transport Research Arena (TRA), which attracted 2800 participants, with a fifty-fifty split between decision-makers and firms, and also took part in COP21 in 2015.

In 2017 IFSTTAR’s researchers were involved, in organising or chairing several international events, for example:

• 5th International Conference on Driver Distraction and Inattention (DDI2017) in Marne-la-Vallée - Co-Chair : C Brusque ;
• 3rd International symposium on Ultra-High Performance Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC 2017) in Montpellier - Chair Dr F. Toutlemonde.
• JCI-RILEM International Workshop (CONCRACK5) in Tokyo; Co-chair Dr F. Toutlemonde

In 2018, IFSTTAR researchers will be involved in several international events (details available on the departments websites), and IFSTTAR Nantes will host the 9th International conference on Indoor Positioning and indoor navigation (IPIN2018) - Chair Dr V. Renaudin.
