IFSTTAR’s exceptional facilities
IFSTTAR has a large number of scientific facilities which enable it to perform high level research and expert appraisals. Some of these are classed as “IFSTTAR exceptional facilities”. These are rare facilities that allow IFSTTAR to carry out research, trials and original tests. These facilities generate a considerable scientific output (theses, publications, research rapports, etc.), are essential for the research structures in order to work towards achieving their scientific priorities, and provide a focus around which partnerships and networks that are important for the Institute are organised.
