Open Science and Open Access

IFSTTAR implements a policy of capitalization and dissemination of publications of its researchers in open access, in accordance with the provisions of the first axis "Generalize open access to publications" of the national plan of open science.

Mandate for dissemination and open access Open access and IFSTTAR policy on institutional repository

Since 2013, IFSTTAR's policy, based on a systematic deposit of publications with full text, aims at capitalizing the exhaustiveness of the scientific literature produced.

In March 2016, IFSTTAR reaffirmed its policy of self archiving of publications into its Madis institutional archive by encouraging researchers to submit a freely accessible version of their publications.

In 2017 IFSTTAR decides to disseminate the scientific literature of researchers of the institute accordingly to the article 30 of the “Loi Numérique” n ° 2016-1323 of October 7, 2016". A mandate for the diffusion in open access and defining a deposit obligation in its open archive interfaced with HAL, dated 31 July 2017, is signed by the Scientific Department.

Archive institutionnelle Madis

Madis aims to contain, enhance and preserve the entire scientific output of the Institute by disseminating it as widely as possible. Madis is interfaced with the national open archive HAL and is accredited by the European platform openAIRE. Notices are also placed in the international TRID database specialized in the field of transport.
