Strengthening the partnership dynamic to the benefit of all parties

Openness, the key to excellence

IFSTTAR will strengthen its many collaborative activities with academic partners within the Research and Academic Clusters (PRES), and with Public Institutions of a Scientific and Technical Nature (EPST). These partnerships generate structural ties that help to consolidate skills and increase the appeal of the Institute. They also help bring about disciplinary renewal within IFSTTAR and help its researchers open up their fields of investigation to other disciplines.

Enhancing its profile to have a greater impact

The Institute wishes to greatly enhance the impact of its scientific output within the wider economy and society. To this end it will set out to heighten its profile and organize its corporate links. As far as local authorities and its institutional partners are concerned, the Institute will improve its willingness to listen and ability to anticipate and come up with proposals.
