  Activités de recherche

  Mes activités de recherche porte principalement sur l'amélioration des connaissances scientifiques en matière de propagation acoustique en milieu extérieur (milieu urbain en particulier) et en milieu intérieur (acoustique des salles et du bâtiment).De nombreux aspects sont traités, tels que l'influence de la météorologie, l'effet de la morphologie architecturale, la diffusion/absorption/réflexion acoustique par des surfaces, notamment grâce à des études expérimentales sur site et sur maquette.Dans un second temps, l'objectif est d'intégrer ces connaissances dans des codes de calcul de propagation acoustique à destination de la communauté scientifique, puis de valoriser ces travaux sous une forme exploitable par le monde professionnel (guides, méthodologies, recommandations, logiciels...).

  Responsabilités

  Après avoir assuré la responsabilité de l'équipe "Acoustique" du LCPC (2008-2012), j'ai pris la direction du Laboratoire d'Acoustique Environnementale (LAE) de l'Ifsttar (département AME) du 1er janvier 2013 au 31 décembre 2017, créé suite à la fusion des équipes "acoustique" du LCPC et de l'INRETS. Depuis le 1er janvier 2018, le LAE et l'équipe "Acoustique" du Cerema Est ont fusionné pour donner naissance à l'Unité Mixte de Recherche en Acoustique Environnementale (UMRAE), dont j'assure aujourd'hui la direction.
