- Responsable de projets de recherche sur « Le renforcement structural par composites collés & les assemblages collés utilisés en génie civil ».
- Coordinateur de projet ANR (MICRO)
- Partenaire de projets Européens (Infravation Fasstbridge) et de collaborations bilatérales (PHC Tassili)
- Encadrement de thèse: 13 thèses soutenues à ce jour
Thématiques de Recherche :
- Durabilité des matériaux composites et des assemblages collés utilisés dans la construction (renforts composites externes, armatures PRF internes pour le béton armé, ancrages chimiques). Des études récentes ont notamment porté sur les effets de synergie entre vieillissement environnemental et chargement mécanique (fluage) sur le comportement à long terme des interfaces collées béton/ PRF.
- Développement d’adhésifs ou matrices polymères innovants renforcés par nanoparticules (argiles fonctionnalisées, nano-silice, nanotubes de carbone), afin d'améliorer leurs propriétés générales (résistance à la chaleur, réduction de l'absorption d'humidité, etc..).
- Formulation et la caractérisation de composites « verts » (matrice biosourcée, fibres végétales) pour le renforcement d’ouvrage où pour l’enveloppe du bâtiment. Cette thématique assez récente inclut la caractérisation thermo-hydrique des composites
- Développement de méthodologies quantitatives d’évaluation non destructives des joints collés, reposant sur diverses techniques (thermographie IR, shearographie, méthodes à ultrasons, capteurs à fibres optiques).

- Comité de Management de l’Action COST TU 1207 “Next Generation Design Guidelines for Composites in Construction” (2013-2017)
- Co-Animateur du groupe de travail de l’AFGC « Utilisation d’armatures composites pour le béton armé ».
- Normalisation : membre de la Commission de Normalisation Réparation des Ouvrages d’Art (CN-ROA) depuis 2017, en vue de la rédaction de la norme NF P95-105 sur le renforcement des ouvrages d'art par matériaux composites collés. Membre invité de la Canadian Standard Association (CSA).
- Co-organisateur de la conference CICE 2018 (Int. Conf. on FRP Composites in Civil Engineering) à Paris en juillet 2018. http://www.cice2018.com.
