    Vincent Gaudefroy is currently a researcher at IFSTTAR Materials and Structures Department.
    During his formation and professional career, he has worked on polymers, lithium batteries and bituminous materials. His special interest focuses on physicochemical properties and characterization of bituminous materials with respect to sustainable development of road pavements. He manages at IFSTTAR research subjects on cold and warm asphalt mixes in the framework of academic and industrial partnerships. He is a member of RILEM technical committees and contributes to studies focus on bitumen aggregates interactions and asphalt material recycling with bitumen emulsion. He is and was supervising 14 PhD students and has authored 55 scientific and technical papers.
