Current developments in the transport sector provide to wireless communications an increasingly important role. These wireless communications can be established between vehicles, between vehicles and infrastructures or for passenger services. Many projects rely on these wireless technologies to optimize the transport of tomorrow and improve passenger services. At the same time, the presence of communciation terminals at the heart of vehicles can constitute points of entry into the transport systems permitting to carry out malicious actions and affect their good operation.
This work is focused on the surveillance of the EM signals present in the EM environment in order to detect critical actions. The signals which will be monitored and analysed may be EM signals exchanged between the communication terminals and data streams flowing on the data link layer. The idea is to identify relevant attack indicators, built from the simultaneous monitoring of these two layers and develop classification techniques to detect and qualify attacks. Keywords : Electromagnetic interferences, electromagnetic environment, Cyber attacks, classification, detection
