Abstract

This thesis explores the underutilized potential of clay materials in construction, focusing on their ability to replace the cement phase and reduce the carbon footprint. The research aims to develop clay-based mixtures as effective adhesives for ceramic tiling, with enhanced adhesion and structural integrity in wet conditions. By integrating polymers and fibers, the study seeks to improve the adhesion and moisture resistance of these materials, catering to both vertical and horizontal applications.
